Before the internet, most people had no easy way of understanding the world and often relied on entertainment media to form their concept of it.
Now that we have the internet, those who didn't wish to read non-fiction or seek out documentary or educational materials to learn about the world have an instant alternative.
But what is the internet most used for? Repurposement and dissemination of entertainment media.
